Went to a Detroit FC soccer match here during the playoffs and it was an incredible atmosphere! Stadium is in the heart of "Pole Town" and tix were only $10! We brought cushions to sit on and the parking is a little weird. Get to the game early enough to walk through the neighborhoods. At least 3 good trucks serve food, plenty of beer and merchandise shops. Plus, the legendary Faygo pop and better maid chips are also available.
Great place to go watch DCFC play some soccer. They have decent seating, although it is an older stadium. They have porta John's and inside restroom. This is a great soccer team to watch, especially for the price. Nice and close to the Fowling warehouse.
It's rowdy. It's raucous. It's gritty. I'm sure the chanting is offensive to some.
I'm happy to take young kids with supervision.
Keyworth Stadium is an amazing stadium! It's made of artificial grass; therefore, it wouldn't be muddy on rainy days making ideal for playing soccer or football in the rain. Although it's a great stadium, it's quite packed more often than not, losing this stadium it's fifth star.
Most parking is a bit of a hike. I'm happy to park a few blocks away on the street and avoid their paid lot.
There are good food truck options.
This is definitely the most fun I've found for a $10 ticket. I enjoy catching DCFC games a couple or few times a year with family and friends.
Raucous, loud, and fun, I think this is the best way I have found to spend ten bucks (ticket price) in metro-Detroit. Watching DCFC, drinking a beer, and enjoying food truck eats combine for a great time!
